Stream 2 - Improving the Accessibility of NEB Processes

In May 2009, the Board released the Streams 1, 2 and 4 LMCI Final Report [Filing A21836] to provide guidance for implementation of the Land Matters Consultation Initiative. These included a series of actions for addressing concerns raised during the consultation process.

Stream 2 focused on improving the accessibility of NEB Processes. The actions identified in Stream 2 are to increase the level of NEB outreach activities, provide on-going process assistance from Board staff, and provide an on-going commitment to effective, efficient and predictable processes. The Board is committed to working with interested parties to strive for continual improvement within the current regulatory framework. Stream 2 Progress Reports track actions in the LMCI Final Report.
