I'm Dave Collyer, President of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. It's a real pleasure for me to participate in this recognition of the NEB's 50th Anniversary which is a significant milestone for any organization. I've got just tremendous respect for the role that the NEB plays in the regulatory system in Canada, I think we've got a world class regulatory framework in this country that benefits all Canadians and the NEB is certainly a key element of that. They play a very important role I think in ensuring in that we've got secure, reliable, affordable energy supply for Canadians and that we responsibly and sustainably develop our abundant energy resources. Just on a personal note I spent, had the opportunity and the privilege frankly, of spending two years with the NEB in Ottawa in an exchange assignment back in the 1980s and it was a tremendous opportunity and frankly when I look back one of the highlights of my career in terms of having the opportunity to spend a couple of years in government with an important regulatory body in the country; learned a tremendous amount and I gained a tremendous respect for the people that work for the Board. A great opportunity to work with the likes of Roland Priddle, Ken Vollman, Gaétan Caron and many others who I learned an awful lot from during that two years I spent in Ottawa. I just, looking forward, just a couple of comments I'd make about the Board. We're in a transition, or I think a changing energy environment in Canada. Two things I think will be constants, one is that we will continue to see a lot of change, and the second is that regulators will continue to play, I think, a very important role in the energy system in Canada. And specifically with respect to the Board I would highlight two areas that I think are going to be important going forward. The first is getting communication or information out to Canadians about the energy systems so they can make informed choices about energy and energy policy and I think the Board has a key role to play in that regard. And second it's going to be a more difficult I think and more challenging environment in which to make regulatory decisions about the public interest but I think the Board's got a tremendous track record established over the last 50 years and I think that's , provides a tremendous foundation for the Board to play a key role in the energy system in Canada going forward. So I'd just like to congratulate the NEB and more importantly the people that today work for the NEB and have worked for the NEB in the past, you know I think they've done a tremendous job in making sure that the NEB functions as a key part of the energy system in Canada. Thank you.
